The latest evolution in battery technology is here. Designed by our expert product team, the Gen3 Eco Battery delivers cutting-edge features and enhanced performance. Whether you're upgrading aftermarket carts or receiving them factory-installed in new OEM models, here are some key updates around this product to ensure a seamless customer experience.

1. Power Button
- New momentary switch – does not stay depressed when pushed.
- Hold for 3 seconds to power off.
- Power button will blink in the event of any BMS fault issues.
2. Canalyst Tool (Gen2 Only)
- Do not use the Canalyst tool on Gen3 batteries.
- Use the Eco Battery mobile app for firmware updates and BMS changes.
- EB Power Tech Tool is still used for cart controller, screen, etc.

3. How to Change CAN Protocol
- Some carts may require a CAN protocol change from the default.
- Use the Eco Battery app under the Settings tab to make this change.
- Only needed for Denago and Pilot Car installs.
4. 10-Year Warranty on Gen3 Batteries
- Performance that’s built to last, backed for a decade.

- Chargers: 2 years | Accessories: 1 year

5. Battery Registration
- Must be registered within 60 days to activate 10-year warranty.
- You or your customer can register.
- Register Battery Online
6. New Comm Port
- New 7-pin port supports a Remote Wake-Up Button.
- Lets you wake the battery without lifting the seat.
- Note: Does not power off battery — only wakes it from sleep mode.
- Included in all new Gen3 bundles.

7. How to Send BMS Logs
- Logs are collected when battery is connected to the Eco Battery App.
- More time connected = more diagnostic data.
- Use "Send BMS Logs" button in the app to submit to support.
8. Parallel Setups
- We do not recommend mixing Gen2 and Gen3 batteries in parallel.
